بالرغم أن الفيلم تصنيفه من فئة الخيال العلمي لكن بالنسبة لي يميل للواقعية أختصرها بثلاث كلمات واقعية الخيال العلمي

حذفت القناة الصوتية DTS 5.1 بسبب انخفاض الصوت ووضعت بدل عنها ,القناة الصوتية DTS-HD MA 7.1 المكونة من 8 قنوات (ولكن تكتب 7.1) بسبب إرتفاع الصوت وأدى ذلك إلى الزيادة في الحجم

Storyline:In the year 2154, two classes of people exist: the very wealthy, who live on a pristine man-made space station called Elysium, and the rest, who live on an overpopulated, ruined Earth. Secretary Delacourt, a government official, will stop at nothing to enforce anti-immigration laws and preserve the luxurious lifestyle of the citizens of Elysium. That doesn't stop the people of Earth from trying to get in by any means they can. When unlucky Max is backed into a corner, he agrees to take on a daunting mission that, if successful, will not only save his life but could bring equality to these polarized worlds

القصة:دور أحداث الفيلم فى عام 2159، حيث توجد طبقتان من الناس. الأولى طبقة فاحشة الثراء يعيشون على متن محطة فضائية مزودة بكل وسائل الراحة والنعيم الممكنة، أما الطبقة الثانية المتمثلة فهي باقي سكان كوكب الأرض، الذي يعيشون فى أطلال وبقايا الكوكب الذى عمه الخراب.. وللحفاظ على مستوى رفاهية طبقة فاحشي الثراء وضعت قوانين تمنع الهجرة والسفر إلى تلك المحطة الفضائية، لكن رجل واحد توكل إليه مهمة شبه مستحيلة للوصول إلى مجتمع الاغنياء، هذه المهمة من الممكن - إذا نجحت - أن تعيد المساواة والعدل إلى العالم مرة أخرى.
